| Hall of Fame Member, Hugh Hernesman Lands New Coaching Position |
12/22/09 - Northwestern State University of Louisiana Director of Athletics Greg Burke announced husband and wife Hugh and Stephanie Hernesman have been hired as co-head coaches for the Lady Demon volleyball program.
The Hernesmans come to Northwestern State after serving the last three years on the staff of Ball State University of the Mid-American Conference - Hugh as the top assistant and recruiting coordinator for the Cardinals and Stephanie as a volunteer assistant.
"Hugh and Stephanie Hernesman bring a combined level of maturity, experience, and knowledge which will be very beneficial to our volleyball student-athletes and to the program, in general," said Burke. "They have been part of a national championship caliber program at Wisconsin-Whitewater and also have been successful at developing a program to a higher level of success, as was the case at Hardin-Simmons and most recently, at Ball State."

12/01/09 - The Wisconsin Volleyball Conference 2009-2010 Kickoff Tournament schedules have been posted. Visit the Oshkosh Volleyball web site for any updates about the tournament or for directions.

Junior Varsity Schedule
There will be an officials clinic run by the Badger Region on Friday night, December 4th at The Bar of Oshkosh. This is a great way for us to contribute to the region by training more officials, but also is a great way for you to earn extra money by officiating juniors events in Wisconsin.
We will begin gathering at 6:00pm and the clinic will officially begin at 6:30. There will be some appetizers available and they are also offering .25 cent wings and a drink special (before 7pm).

| 2010 WVC Championships to be held at UW-Whitewater in March |

10/03/09 - The 2010 Wisconsin Volleyball Conference Championship Tournament will be held at UW-Whitewater on March 12-13.
The tournament had to be moved away from it's normal weekend in response to the NCVF National Championships being a week earlier this year. Both tournaments will likely move back to their respective weekends in 2011. Tournament details will be posted to the site as they are made available.

| NCVF partners with USA Volleyball to host 2010 NCVF Collegiate Club Volleyball Championship Tournament |
07/13/09 - The National Collegiate Volleyball Federation (NCVF) in cooperation with USA Volleyball will be hosting the 2010 NCVF National Collegiate Club Championship Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky on April 1-3, 2010.
Gaining momentum from the USA national teams Olympic medal performances in Beijing, USA
Volleyball touts a full range of sport-specific and large event expertise and will significantly
enhance NCVF efforts to promote affordable and quality opportunities for male and female club
athletes throughout the USA.
The NCVF is a national organization comprised of volleyball club league commissioners,
students and collegiate club representatives who volunteer season-long support for constituent
student club organizations across America. It's partnership with USA Volleyball, the national
governing body for the sport, will bring an unprecedented range of resources to students,
coaches, administrators and supporters.
The 2010 Louisville event is endorsed by the following organizations as the official
and exclusive 2010 national club championship event for all NCVF teams:
